JAI19 - Jane Blakeley

Hello! I'm a virgin challenge enterer but I was inspired by the beautiful colours of this weeks challenge. I don't have a blog (yet!) and love this option of emailing in! Plus I a) needed to make some birthday cards and b) own all those colours! Yay!

I was so inspired, I made two. Is that okay to enter both? Anyway, I will send both through, here is the first one I made for my niece.

Thanks for a great challenge! I really enjoyed doing it and hope to do more now!

Cheers, Jane Blakeley

Here's the second one (my favourite is the first I think, but this was a great idea in my head!)

JAI18 - Rhonda Fawcett

Hi there

I have designed a 6 x 6 scrapbook page for this week's challenge.
It is made using nearly all the stamps from the Baroque Motifs stamp set and clear embossing powder and a brayer. (the inks are orchid opulence and basic black)
I tried stamping a flourish on the photo with staz on white ink but it didn't show up very well so I used the white gel pen instead.

Cheers from Rhonda

JAI17 - Rhonda Fawcett

Hello Ladies

First of all I want to thank all of the wonderful team for such an amazing and extremely helpful challenge this week. So many ideas to choose from!

My entry for this weeks challenge is the scallop flower as taught by Kristy J.

I made a little bag (purse pattern from the stampin' up website, slightly altered) and attached the flower on top with a glue dot. The ribbons that pass through the centre of the flower hang down the back of the bag.  I also incorporated the emboss resist technique as taught by Nicole in the little embellishment on the bottom right of the bag.

What do you think of my unusual colour combination? (Main 3 colours are chocolate chip, really rust and rich razzleberry.)

From Rhonda F

CONGRATULATIONS RHONDA!!

Hi

I've used one of Danielle's technique for this (not quite as expertly as her though!! Don't look too closely!). And I do believe that the colour combination has come from one of Danielle's cards too ...!

Products used:
Cameo Coral card (textured and normal)
Blush Blossom card
Whisper White card
Chocolate Chip Ink
SU punches

JAI16 - Rhonda

Hello ladies

Here is my entry for this week's colour challenge JAI16. It is another wedding anniversary card. This time for a golden wedding anniversary.

I must admit I found it hard using pretty in pink with the other colours but I was happy with the card I made.

Hello ladies

Here is my entry for the JAI15 sketch challenge. I made this card for my in-laws wedding anniversary (coming up soon). It has special significance as one of their fondest honeymoon memories is ice skating on Manorburn Dam in the South Island (Alexandra area).

I've included two photos as my little cheap camera didn't capture the black embossing on black card very well.

JAI15 - Jane Marshall

Hello again Ladies,

I think I have released a monster...a scrapping monster! After the fun I had last week,I had already printed this picture, thinking I would have a go at scrapping it. All of my wedding photo's had always just been in a box( how terrible). Then when the challenge went up, I thought, ooh! that might work!

It is an almost B/W photo with just a very little bit of colour on my lips and in my bouquet, which is why I went for Pink Pirouette and Wild Wasabi.

The scalloped edge around the heart is made from two Scalloped ovals, stuck together and the flower (top left) is made out of vellum Scalloped circles, scrunched up and rubbed over the PP ink pad.

I won't carry on anymore.....but again, thanks for the challenge.

Jane Marshall
